Plan your study costs
Understand the numbers before you speak to any bank: estimate your EMI and moratorium interest, convert fees to rupees, and learn the common loan traps.

Tip: paying the interest monthly during your course stops it being added to the loan. That saves about ₹3,40,036 here.

The golden loan principle
Never take the full loan amount in one lump sum. Interest only starts ticking on the amount the bank has disbursed.
Paying just ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 a month during your study period stops the interest from piling up and keeps your EMI lower after graduation.
Why this matters during your course
In countries like the US, Germany and the UK, courses are fast and graded hard. Students who pay nothing during study carry a growing loan, and that worry gets heavier during exams and deadlines.
A small monthly payment gives you breathing room to focus on your grades and internships.
